Membership to the Hungerford Hares
Welcome to Hungerford Hares. We are a running club providing membership to athletes of any ability from 18 years of age.
Visitors, guests, and prospective new members are most welcome to run with us for a number of weeks before we expect them to join up formally. Although Hungerford Hares as a club is affiliated with England Athletics there are additional benefits to becoming registered as an individual with England Athletics. Full details are available on the England Athletics site and include:
- clubs and athletes that are affiliated or registered with England Athletics have rights with regards to support, services and resources. These benefits include insurance, club places at the London Marathon, specialist coaching visits to clubs and preferential entries to events.
- Individual registration entitles you to the £2 discount for race entries. England athletics are increasing their registration checks and race organisers will be asking for URN numbers if you have entered as an affiliated (registered) athelete.
Annual Membership is due on the 1st April each year. Current membership is £16.50.
If possible, BACS payment is preferable.
