The Hungerford Hares Running Club was established in June 2007 and has around 50 members.
Set in West Berkshire, Hungerford is a small historic market town, close to the Wiltshire border.
The town stands on the Kennet and Avon canal in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our club base is at The Triangle Field, Priory Road, Hungerford.
We are a small, friendly, community-conscious club that caters for anyone who loves to run.

Hungerford Hares Running Club are pleased to announce that club sessions will resume on Tuesday 30th March 2021 at the Rugby Club, Hungerford at 7:30pm.
We will follow the recent guidance issued by England Athletics (EA) which states that formal organised outdoor athletics and running activity that are Covid-secure can take place from 29 March.
“Covid-secure” is a set of documented requirements, action plans and risk assessments documented by EA and running clubs. These include recording the name and contact details of all runners, so it is vital that runners pre-book the free sessions using the RunTogether application, available:

Our first session will be in and around the town. There will be a short option (about 4km) as well as a longer option (10km).

Hungerford Hares Running Club are pleased to announce that a new Beginners Course will commence on Tuesday 13 April 2021 at the Rugby Club, Hungerford at 7:30pm. The programme is led by England Athletics-qualified run leaders who will take you from zero running ability to running 5km (3.1 miles) over the course of eight weeks. The last session will be on 1 June 2021.
Last year 14 runners successfully graduated from the programme. The fee is £12, including a year’s membership of the club and a finisher’s medal. To sign up, please email email@example.com For more information visit the beginners page.
