The Hungerford Hares Running Club was established in June 2007 and has around 50 members.
Set in West Berkshire, Hungerford is a small historic market town, close to the Wiltshire border.
The town stands on the Kennet and Avon canal in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our club base is at The Triangle Field, Priory Road, Hungerford.
We are a small, friendly, community-conscious club that caters for anyone who loves to run.
Come and join us!
We have now received a statement from England Athletics in response to the latest guidance in response to the Coronavirus.
For now, we are stopping our club training sessions.
It is going to feel very strange over the next few weeks and months for all of us. We are social creatures so I know it is going to be tough, but when we can resume the sessions again we will appreciate them a whole lot more!! We will keep you posted.
Please look after yourselves everyone, try and be sensible and heed government advice where you can. We will get through this and come out stronger on the other side.
As a result (of the coronavirus), England Athletics advises that all face-to-face activity such as club training sessions, events, competitions, club committee and face-to-face meetings, athlete camps, running groups and social events should be suspended until at least the 31st of May.
See you all soon…..
