The Hungerford Hares Running Club was established in June 2007 and has around 50 members.
Set in West Berkshire, Hungerford is a small historic market town, close to the Wiltshire border.
The town stands on the Kennet and Avon canal in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our club base is at The Triangle Field, Priory Road, Hungerford.
We are a small, friendly, community-conscious club that caters for anyone who loves to run.

Beginners
Hungerford Hares Running Club runs a Beginners Course at the Rugby Club, Hungerford. The programme is led by England Athletics-qualified run leaders who will take you from zero running ability to running 5km (3.1 miles) over the course of eight weeks.
In 2022 8 runners successfully graduated from the programme. The fee is £16.50, including a year’s membership of the club and a finisher’s medal. The next course starts on Tuesday 9th April 2024 at 7.30pm.
